In 2010 Tymon worked with Uru Ana (Alex Walker and Alex Thomas) to produce amazingly evocative ‘soundscapes’ to accompany spoken word extracts from the great French surrealist writer, Louis Aragon’s prose-poem-essay, ‘A Wave of Dreams’. The writing describes the inner adventures of the young Parisian surrealists during their early days of experimentation with drugs, sleep deprivation and ‘trances’ during which they pushed themselves to the brink of insanity
Thin Man Press published the first English translation of the work as a beautifully designed hybrid product, with the CD of the soundscapes/spoken word extracts tucked into the back of the elegant little book. A real collector’s item!

Tymon, Alex T and Alex Walker will be performing an interpretation of Louis Aragon’s ‘A Wave of Dreams’ with musical soundscapes at the third Black Huts festival in Hastings 2 November at 1pm in the Electric Palace cinema.
Nichola Bruce’s wonderful film, ‘Dreams, Dreams, Dreams’ with music by Tymon will also be screened at the same event.
Tymon was proud to support Tara Reddy’s inaugural fundraising gig on 2 October for a fitting memorial to the Socialist icon in Tressell’s hometown, Hastings. Also offering their many talents to the cause were Attila the Stockbroker, Salena Godden, Kingsize Slim and many more.

In August Tymon played a bartender in Danny Garcia’s forthcoming spaghetti western ‘Six Bullets to Hell’ shot in Las Tabernas, Adalusia. Tymon has also composed music for the soundtrack.
